Electrolysis System (salt water swimming pool)
The pool water treated with salt electrolysis ensures clean and crystal-clear water. The water feels gentle on the skin and does not cause eye irritation (ideal for those allergic to chlorine).
An electrolysis system includes an automatic pH control so that the chlorine produced reacts optimally.
How does the salt electrolysis work?
The system consists of a control unit and electrolysis cell. Salt is added directly to the pool water in a low concentration of only approx. 1.5 g/L. For comparison: The salt concentration in the sea is about 20 times higher. Then the cell integrated in the water circuit converts the dissolved salt into active chlorine, which destroys bacteria and other microorganisms and thus reliably ensures water disinfection. Part of the unused chlorine is converted back to salt after some time, remaining in the circuit and can be converted back into active chlorine.
pH Control
Depending on the pH value in the pool, a microprocessor provides automatic dosing of the pH liquid. This ensures a constant pH value.
