The water on the Andalusian coast is very calcareous, which is why decalcification systems are often used.
Decalcification Systems
A decalcification system filters limescale out of the water. The normal domestic water flows through the ion exchanger integrated in the decalcification system. The ion exchanger binds the limescale. The decalcified water then continues to flow through the water pipes in the usual way. The bound limescale is automatically rinsed out of the ion exchanger.
Our decalcification systems are top quality and highly efficient.
But why is decalcified water better?
Decalcified or “soft” water has a variety of advantages in many different areas. When it comes to cooking, protecting the environment or saving costs in the long term.
We have compiled the advantages of a decalcification system for you – you will be surprised by the difference a water softener makes!
Health
- Some bacteria, for example the dangerous Legionella (Legionnaires’ disease), preferably live in limescale nests in the water pipes. The same applies to all other germs and viruses: where water is stagnating, for example in the limestone nests, the pathogens multiply. With a descaling system, the water pipes remain free of limescale, which prevents germs & co from multiplying in the pipes.
Corrosion prevention
- Also rust needs small bays and caves in which the water “stands”. “Lime nests” in the pipes are exactly such a rust paradise.
Laundry
- You need less detergent and no softener is needed any more.
- White linen shines more brightly.
- The clothes are easier to iron.
- The linen gives a soft, pleasant feeling on the skin.
- Your clothes remain new for longer.
Domestic appliances
- Calcification is being prevented.
- Devices will last longer and therefore less often need to be replaced.
Housekeeping
- No limescale spots, e.g. on taps, tiles or tableware.
- Faster cleaning, as no limescale marks need to be removed.
- Protect your water pipes: You prevent the horror scenario “burst pipe”.
Food & Drink
- Compared to hard water or water with a high lime content, everything prepared with soft water tastes better or more intense. Tea and coffee, for example, are experienced as more aromatic. Or soups, which promise an intense taste with low-calcium water.
Environment
- Less consumption of detergents and cleaning agents protects the water.
